Elisabeth Moss is all smiles in a black mini dress, Ray Ban sunglasses, Ugg boots and a leather jacket. The Mad Men actress, who usually looks so natural, is posh in a pictorial for GQ Magazine, the April issue. Moss shows of her Agent Provocateur lingerie under a The Row blazer, and she talks controversial issues with the publication. For example, who she’s like to “f**k, marry and kill” on the show: “Oh brother. I don’t want to marry any of them! Impossible! I guess I’d marry…Sterling? F*ck Don. And I guess I have to kill Pete? But let me say for the record that none of these are things I’d ever want to do.” The new season of Mad Men premieres this week, on April 7th, with a double episode called “The Doorway”. This is the sixth season of the super successful series, with Moss’ character in a new position at “Cutler Gleason and Chaough”. “I think she definitely is trying to spread her wings, and I think she’s trying to evolve and be independent and strong, and sort of emulate Don. But I think that the theme of the season is people trying to get away from themselves and having a lot of trouble with that, and being chased by their own shadows and demons and treading water. It’s that old thing of, when you’re in a relationship and then you break up, and then you find yourself in another relationship with the exact same problem and you’re like, “What’s the common denominator in these two relationships? Is it me?” So I think that’s the theme of the show this season: Why are these people continuing to wind up in the same place?” Moss revealed in an interview.
