The actress, who is now 44, recently told Emmy magazine how challenging it is for an ethnic person to make it in Hollywood: “I don’t think it was specific to television. I think it was the industry in general. There were not a lot of Asians in Hollywood at that time, or they were not as prominent as they are now. So the options were limited,” she said. For the photo shoot with the magazine – which she covers this month – Liu is wearing Alexander McQueen, Reem Acra and YSL gowns, and she does them justice, like any 20 year old model would. The Elementary actress is called “luminous” by the mag, and we couldn’t agree more!
