This Sunday marks the Emmy Awards, but that's not just a singular event. They have plenty of pre-parties and after-parties for the celebrities, and we're showing you who attended the Variety and Women in Film Pre-Emmy Party on Friday, September 20th, in Beverly Hills. This is one of the most important parties each year, even though there are so many others to try if you're an A lister.
Mad Men stars Elisabeth Moss, Jessica Pare and Linda Cardellini were there, looking pretty good. Elisabeth's colorblock dress was flattering and young, but her nude pumps were visibly uncomfortable and a size too big. What they have to bare to look good on the red carpet! The actress has every reason to attend Emmy parties, as she's got a few nominations for the actual awards. Jessica could wear anything, as long as she keeps her gorgeous smile, and for the occasion she picked a strapless black dress with pointy shoes. Linda went for a chic midi black dress and ankle strap heels, with nude earrings.

Glee's Jenna Ushkowitz and former Gossip Girl, Jessica Szohr, both looked lovely arriving to the party. Jenna picked a strapless gold dress and a crown braid, while Jessica was radiant in a Carolina Herrera cream dress and a hairstyle that showed off her incredible eyes. The actresses posed together, and with Nikki Reed, too, who was there wearing a '70s inspired jumpsuit. Michelle Trachtenberg of the same Gossip Girl attended the party, in a baroque print green mini dress.

Part of the Modern Family cast was also present at the party, including Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ty Burrel and Sarah Hyland. The first two looked smart in black and white, while Sarah picked a red lace dress and was spotted kissing Glee's Jane Lynch.
