Taylor Swift is about to become the girl of Zac Efron’s dreams–in an animated film, that is. The country cutie has joined the star-studded cast of Universal and Illumination Entertainment’s upcoming 3-D animated feature, The Lorax, a CGI-animated adaptation of the Dr. Suess children’s book classic. Zac has already been lined up to voice the lead character, Ted, the young boy who goes in search of the mysterious tree-loving Lorax. Taylor will lend her voice to the  consummate “dream girl” Audrey, the object of idealistic Ted’s affection.

Taylor will star opposite an impressive voicecast including Danny Devito, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle and Betty White. In the tale, Ted  comes across the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world. DeVito is the voice of the Lorax while Helms voices Once-ler, who in the book is never shown except for his hands and arms. Riggle plays a greedy entrepreneur while White will voice Efron’s wise grandmother.

The film reunites many of the behind-the-scenes talent involved in Illumination’s first movie, Despicable Me: Chris Renaud is directing from a screenplay by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio. Illumination founder Chris Meledandri and fellow Despicable Me producer Janet Healey are producing while Audrey Geisel, Suess’ widow, serves as the film’s executive producer. The film will be Taylor’s second run on the big screen since last year’s Valentine’s Day. She’s simply adorbale in these oversized Prada shades, which come in three frame colors.  –rpuccia
