You know you’re smokin’ hot if you top Maxim’s annual Hot 100 list and the 2011 roster certainly doesn’t disappoint. Most of the top 10 are no surprise, like Cameron Diaz (#4), Mila Kunis (#5), Bar Refaeli (#6), Anne Hathaway (#7), and Natalie Portman (#8). But this year’s #1 crowning glory is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a relative unknown at the moment, but the buzz is, as they say, ’bout to blow up. You’ve probably seen Rosie in Victoria Secret catalogs and runway shows sporting tiny, lacy skivvies–she’s been an “Angel” since 2006. Her other high-fashion model exploits include ad campaigns for Burberry, Prada, Miss Sixty and Thomas Wylde. She even received Elle Mag’s coveted Style Award for 2009 “Model of the Year”.
But the real buzz comes from the fact that this British bombshell bumped Megan Fox as the leading lady and pin-up girl in the next Transformers: Dark of the Moon installment which premieres on July 1. Apparently, the blockbuster franchise’s director, Michael Bay, had a little something to do with it. He actually worked with Rosie previously on a VS commercial. This smashing 24-year-old also happens to be dating English action star and kick-butt martial artist Jason Stratham.
