While Kristen Stewart can definitely work it on the red carpet, she’s typically a skinny jeans and Converse kinda gal. But in the September issue of W magazine, the Twilight star breaks out of her comfort zone in an utterly gorgeous retro-glam-inspired photo shoot that literally takes your breath away. In the accompanying interview, she reveals that while she knew it was going to be tough to say goodbye to Bella Swan, it took a while before the reality of it all really sank in. “I’d been anticipating that end-of-Bella moment. I was going, ‘Oh, my God — I wonder how I’m going to feel,” she said. She goes on to say that the last scene of the shoot was the “big” wedding and that every single character was there on set. “At the end of that day, I was kind of whacked,” Kristen confessed. “And so I never really had that moment then. Instead, it happened later. We needed to film one more sort of honeymoon scene and we went to the Virgin Islands. After that scene, my true final scene, I felt like I could shoot up into the night sky and every pore of my body would shoot light. I felt lighter than I’ve ever felt in my life.”

In the interview, she also talks about filming the highly-anticipated “honeymoon” scene with her real-life beau Robert Pattinson (Edward), describing it as “pretty major.”  “The last Twilight book is filled with things that people have been waiting for for so long,” she notes. The films (Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 and 2) are sure not to disappoint. Here she’s retro-cool in her signature black Ray Ban wayfarers.  –rpuccia
