There are advantages and disadvantages in having a part in a cult TV show – on one hand, you find success and recognition, but on the other hand, you risk being associated with a certain character and a certain character only. The True Blood hottie, Alexander Skarsgard, doesn’t want to fall in this trap, and he continues to play other parts while also being “Eric Northman” – most recently, he’s been in “Battleship”. Besides acting, Skarsgard keeps busy with other gigs, too: he’s recently become the face of a Calvin Klein fragrance for men, he’s on the cover of Entertainment Weekly to promote the 5th season of True Blood, and he still finds the time for a L.A. Kings hockey game. He attended the game with Ellen Paige, his partner in a new movie, “The East” – we can only hope that the two hit it off and become an item.
