With a face like Anne Hathaway’s, who cares about hair? For her latest part, as Cosette’s mother Fantine in a new adaptation of Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway gave up her long brunette hair. Fantine is a prostitute, and she cuts her hair to feed her daughter. “I did it for a film, so it really wasn’t about me and my security,” says Hathaway. “I’m just so pleased with how I look, so I now quite like having short hair.” Is this becoming a trend, is a pretty face with luscious locks not enough for Hollywood anymore? Because we’re just recently seen Charlize Theron do something similar for a part! Until we get to see her acting in her new pixie cut, we can still enjoy Hathaway’s hair and curves in The Dark Knight Rises, the final part of Batman. Hathaway will put on the catsuit on the big screen starting July 2012.
