It’s time for punk princess Avril Lavigne to walk down the isle for the second time in six years! The former “sk8” girl was married to Sum41 lead singer from 2006 till 2009, as the two married when she was just 21. At the time, Lavigne had doubts whether she should go for a goth wedding or for something traditional, and in the end she chose the latter. Now 27, the singer takes the leap in a more mature way. Or does she? She’s only dated Nickelback frontman Chad Croeger since February of this year, and the singer already popped the question! The couple appears on the cover of the September 10 issue of Hello Canada, showing off the 14K diamond ring on Lavigne’s finger. So far, they kept the relationship pretty low profile, but it appears that they fell in love instantly, as they were co-writing a song for Avril’s next album. Moreover, it appears that both their families approve and that the lovebirds are very happy with their decision. Croeger, who is 10 years older than Lavigne, hasn’t been married before and is looking forward to family life.
