In a black, straight wig, Meester is almost unrecognizable on the cover of the magazine, and she just happens to be topless in the photo spread. However, the beauty admits that it’s not just what Mother Nature gave her: “Everyone looks better with a little bit of make-up. Y’know, a little bit of mascara and a bit of concealer… but a little goes a long way. You’ve got to get used to seeing your face without make-up, otherwise it becomes thicker and heavier and more and more, and then you don’t recognize yourself without it.” When she’s not filming, the actress prefers a minimal, natural look, and she gave her fans her best beauty tip: “The craziest beauty trick I’ve ever seen is… someone curling my eyelashes with a spoon. No idea why – but it worked.”
