Adam Levine takes on many roles these days: a lead singer in Maroon 5, the murder victim in American Horror Story, or, most recently, host for the SNL. “I’ve been here with my band Maroon 5 before but this time it is just me,” Levine began his speech. “Like all successful singers, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I would overreach and try acting.” Andy Samberg, Cameron Diaz, and Jerry Seinfeld were also invited, in a The Voice spoof. The three “judges” invited Levine to join the comedy world, each referring to their own thing. Diaz, for example, referenced her role in “There’s Something About Mary”, while Seinfeld advised Levine to count on his “Jewishness”. Still taking his first steps in the world of acting, Levine joins Keira Knightley in “Can a Song Save Your Life?” -, but we’re sure some singing will be involved as well.
