However, the Boy Meets World star looks absolutely stunning on the cover of Maxim this April, wearing just a light cardigan over her lingerie. She revealed where the name iconic “Taponga” came from: “Michael Jacobs, who created Boy Meets World, says he was driving down the highway when production called and said, “We need a name for this character!” He happened to be driving past Topanga Canyon, so he said, “Topanga.” He says that if they had called him two miles later, I would’ve been named Canoga, which is the next exit.” The actress also denies having dated Ben Savage – apparently, they only had one date when she was 15, which made them realize they were more like family than lovers. Fishell finishes the interview with a secret: she’s a huge 90s rap fan! Apparently, if you play Notorious BIG, she’ll mouth all the lyrics, however embarrassing.
