Brad Pitt and his partner, Angelina Jolie, are once again in the attention of the press, ever since the actress announced undergoing a double mastectomy to prevent breast cancer. And since that is out in the open, other things come to the surface as well. Pitt told Esquire magazine that he was mostly high during his marriage to Jennifer Aniston: “For a long time I thought I did too much damage – drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing. I spent years f***ing off. But then I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. It was a conscious change… This was about a decade ago. It was an epiphany.” That should be hard to hear for a woman who loved him! However, Pitt insists that him and Aniston are still friends, and that she’s a lovely, lively person.
