Amy Adams recently told Vanity Fair: “I get Isla Fisher all the time, still. And I know Isla, and for a while our kids went to the same dance school. When I’m with Isla, we both look at one another and … I get it but I don’t get it.” She may not see it, but we do… The two actresses are probably some of the most similar looking in Hollywood, so we’ve put together a style-off to see who’s the most fashionable of the two:

1. The holiday cover challenge
In the December 2012 issue of InStyle Australia, Isla Fisher was all the rage. The actress looked stunning in a lacey burgundy dress with an open back, which complemented her red hair. A similar cover was shot for the January issue of Vanity Fair this year, this time starring Amy Adams. The actress is wearing a deep cleavage dress and showcasing a tree ornament – but what we like most is the lipstick she’s donning.
Winner: Both. We like them both.

2. The green gown challenge
It’s pretty impressive that both actresses chose an emerald green gown with a sweetheart neckline for red carpet events! Isla went for a satin dress with a jeweled belt in 2007, and accessorized with a black clutch, bangles and earrings. Amy’s Academy Awards 2008 gown features an incorporated belt and fishtail skirt, and she paired it with a tiny gold clutch and matching jewelry.
Winner: Amy, for the elegant matte fabric of the dress and her sideswept hairstyle.

3. The mom challenge
In 2011, when Isla’s daughter was 4, the two went for a bike ride. The actress wore a boho hat, braided hair, rolled up jeans and sandals, while Olive looked sweet in a rainbow tee and skirt. Amy Adams’ picture dates from the beginning of this year, when the actress took her 3 year old daughter, Aviana, out for lunch. The actress wore jeans with boots, a scarf, sunglasses and her hair down, while the kid went for a star print tee, jeans and Dora the Explorer crocs.
Winner: Isla, for being environment friendly (and making us think of summer).

4. The mini + sunglasses challenge
Both actresses have legs for days, and they show them off in mini skirts. Isla paired her white mini with a fuchsia skirt, high heels and black Ray Ban sunglasses. Amy went for a more casual look, with a gray mini dress, sneakers and oversized sunglasses.
Winner: Amy, for the natural look.
