The BAFTA Awards are often a preview of the Oscarss, as many of their winners go on to receive an Academy Awards. But let’s see who (stylishly) attended this year.  Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt were one of the nicest red carpet appearances, in their matching black tuxedos. His was Valentino, while hers was a more feminine Saint Laurent, and they both looked smokin’.

Everyone’s new favorite red carpet darling, Lupita Nyang’o, wore a gorgeous Dior Couture strapless gown with a gold metallic belt and matching bangles. The stunning beauty has managed to look stunning once again. Cate Blanchett was her own kind of stunning, in a minimal black dress with silver flowers on the hips, designed by Alexander McQueen. The blonde was named Best Actress for the role in Blue Jasmine, while Jennifer Lawrence, who wasn’t present at the awards, won Best Supporting Actress for American Hustle. The Best Film of the evening was 12 Years a Slave, and the Best British Film was Gravity.

Leonardo DiCaprio looked dapper in his Giorgio Armani suit, and we also liked Uma Thurman‘s plain and simple dress designed by Atelier Versace: fitted, strapless, black, showing off her incredible figure. DiCaprio’s movie, The Great Gatsby, was awarded for production and costume design at the BAFTAs.
