The new Awkard trailer is out!

It looks like senior year finds the characters of Awkward. at a new level of awkwardness. From the trailer that’s been recently released by MTV, we find out that Jenna (Ashley Rickards) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff) are now trying to be friend with benefits, which doesn’t work out very well for Jenna. While she tries to concentrate on college, she meets a hot new guy. Meanwhile, Tamara (Jillian Rose Reed) and Jake (Brett Davern) are having a rough patch of their own. There’s also a hot new girl coming to school, all topped by Sadie’s (Molly Tarlov) mean comments.

In an interview with Elle Magazine last year, Ashley Rickards said Bruno Mars should be her next love interest on the show. She also mentioned that her style is very different from Jenna’s: “She has these hoodies that are remarkably vintage [laughs], and I’ve always wondered where she gets these bell-bottom pants she wears—those haven’t been sold in stores for a long time! But this season, she’s wearing skinny jeans and cute boots, really accessible stuff that’s very youthful, new millennium. It’s fun.” We wonder what Jenna will wear on the fourth season of Awkard., which will premiere on April 15th at at 10/9c.
