With films like Donnie Brasco and Volcano as well as many different guest-appearance stints on various television shows, Anne Heche is definitely a talented actress. The most publicized event of her life, though, would have to be her three-year relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, who’s currently married to same-sex partner Portia deRossi. Immediately following her breakup with DeGeneres, Heche made headlines yet again for showing up on a stranger’s doorstep to announce that “she was God and would take everyone back to heaven in her spaceship.” Police reports blamed her disorientation on mental illness mixed with the drug Ecstasy, which might help explain the title of her 2001 autobiography—Call Me Crazy: A Memoir.
