Britney Spears’ former manager Sam Lufti has filed a defamation suit against Brit’s mom Lynn because she described him as a “fake” and a “predator” in her 2009 memoir, Through the Storm. Lufti was dating Britney just before her breakdown in 2008 and Lynne blames him for her daughter’s downfall. Lynne tried to get the lawsuit tossed but the courts have ruled that Lufti can proceed. At least Brit’s been keeping out of trouble these days and things are going great with her current boyfriend / former agent, Jason Trawick.
