Brazilian American bombshell Camilla Belle has been captivating us with her beauty and talent since her break out lead role in the Disney Channel movie Rip Girls in 2000 as Sydney Miller. Since then she’s starred in films like When A Stranger Calls, 10,000 BC–a film about prehistoric humans, and Push, a sci-fi thriller involving a group of super-powered youths. Her most recent film, From Prada to Nada involved some comedic chops in a whimsical fish-out-of-water story of two spoiled sisters: Nora (Camilla), a law student, and Mary (Alexa Vega), an undergrad party girl, living with their father in a luxurious mansion in Beverly Hills. When their Dad suddenly passes away, their posh lives are turned upside down as they discover they’ve been left penniless and are forced to move into their estranged aunt’s (Adriana Barraza) modest home in the Latino-centric Boyle Heights neighborhood of East LA.
Camilla has also had turns with some of the hunkiest young bachelors in Hollywood including Joe Jonas (’08-’09) and (rumored) Rob Pattinson. And she was recently named one of People magazine’s Most Beautiful People in the World 2011. Next up for this gorgeous actress-she’ll star in Freaky Deaky–alongside William H. Macy–an adaptation of the Elmore Leonard book and written/directed by Charles Matthau. The story revolves around Chris Mankowski, a Detroit police sergeant who moves from the bomb squad to sex crimes, coming up against a group of ’60s radicals who become part of an investigation involving the bombing of a limousine. Camilla’s star quality shines through in these diva-worthy two-tone red shades. –rpuccia
