It’s a safe bet that hunky Star Trek actor Chris Pine could have just about any lady he wants accompany him to an event, but the star brought his dad along to the Rebecca Minkoff show at Lincoln Center for New York Fashion Week. Chris’ father, Robert Pine, is no stranger to the perks that come along with being a celeb (like checking out hot models!) since he’s an actor himself—best known for his role on the NBC hit series CHiPs during the late 1970s and early 80s.
His dad has recently done some voice over work, but Chris filmed a rom-com called This Means War with Reese Witherspoon and Tom Hardy last fall, and it’s slated to hit theaters in February 2012. He’ll also co-star in the upcoming family drama Welcome to People alongside Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde, and Michelle Pfeiffer. The handsome duo sat in the front row at the show, near Alexis Bledel, Sophia Bush, and Angela Simmons. Chris donned a simple white tee and Yankees cap to dress down and avoid the press, but we’re sure he had the ladies drooling nonetheless.
