After another successful role in To Rome With Love, Penelope Cruz keeps busy with plenty of projects. On the one hand, she’s got her acting: Twice Born in 2012, I’m So Excited and The Counselor in 2013 and La Reina de Espanafor probably 2014. That aside, Cruz is learning to stop worrying so much and to put motherhood first: “In the past, I would worry about certain things I thought were important but as soon as this is in your life you see how out of proportion things can be,” she tells Insider.”With my job, you worry about how you’re perceived and what people think about you. Now I don’t care so much anymore. That’s not to say I don’t take the work very seriously … I try to do my best, but I’m not anxious like I was in the beginning of my career.” Penelope’s son, Leonardo, is less than 2 years old now, but doesn’t stop the 38 year old Spanish actress from appearing on high profile magazine covers. This month alone, Cruz covered Vogue Spain (in spectacular, sexy black and white) and W Magazine (in a more motherly photo, with a turtleneck and statement necklace).
