With a 25 years acting career behind her, Julia Roberts decided that it’s now time to enter the TV business, as a producer. It looks like the Pretty Woman actress is in the works for a show called The Taming of the Shrew, a workplace sitcom that “follows a horrible boss and the employees trying to reign her in.” The show was bought by ABC, the network she’s also worked with for An American Girl Adventure and Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. Don’t worry, though, her acting days are not over yet: the 44 year old is currently filming with Ewan McGregor for August: Osage County and she’s preparing for The Normal Heart, an early 80s drama that’s thought to be a hit. Not everything works out, apparently, since Julia Roberts and George Clooney are both “suing a Kennesaw-based audio-visual company, accusing it of unauthorized use of their images in advertising and promotions, and invasion of privacy,” according to AJC. The former Ocean’s Eleven co-workers had their rights infringed and are not going to sit still waiting for things to happen. “The defendants have infringed on plaintiffs’ rights to be left alone and their right to control the use of their images, identities, personas, in direct violation of Georgia privacy laws,” the suit says.
