Ben Affleck’s latest movie, Argo, is now out in theaters. Argo tells the story of six Americans that managed to escape the Iranian revolutionaries back in the 80s. With names like Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin and John Goodman, the movie made over $19 million in its opening weekend and it’s regarded as a potentially iconic movie. 78 year old actor Alan Arkin plays Lester Siegel in Argo, the Hollywood producer who helps Affleck and the team create a fake movie for their political goal. Although the character is based on a real person, it’s not that easy to make it happen: “Believe me, it’s not easy playing a composite,” Arkin says. “I had to play four people at the same time. You ever try doing that? It’s not easy.” The Little Miss Sunshine actor added: “It was out of my imagination, but I used Jack Warner as a basis. He’s someone who is very comfortable in his own skin, someone who knew the ins and outs of the business, backwards and forwards.” In Argo, Arkin/Siegel, is donning a pair of Persol sunglasses as he’s lounging with a glass of whiskey by his side, in a white shirt and knitted vest.
