The actress tells Marie Claire magazine about the revelations that came with age, and what keep a relationship going

Diane Kruger has always been one of those gorgeous blondes – but seeing her on the cover of Marie Claire UK made us realize she’s really something else. The actress looks absolutely stunning in her pictures, shot by David Roemer. And she’s not just a pretty face, she puts soul into her work: she believes that fashion and cinema make people dream, they make them look beautiful and they’re great creative outlets. We wouldn’t have it any other way!
Kruger also admits that the world she now lives is incredible to her: she’s an actress, she moved to Paris, she’s met incredible people (she modeled for Chanel since she was 15) and she’s even on the cover of Marie Claire! But it hasn’t always been like this, and the transition wasn’t necessarily smooth: “For a long time I felt that I was so accomplished,” she said. “But when I turned 30 I realized I was an idiot. I didn’t know shit about anything.” One thing in her life is certain, though, and that’s her relationship with Joshua Jackson. Even if they’re both in the public eye, they manage to keep themselves together as an item. She says it’s all about timing, and that her and Joshua were both ready for the same thing, at the same time. Dreamy, right?
