Kate Middleton gave birth to a son on Monday.
After a week of anticipation of the big date and 9 months of preparations, the heir of the crown is finally born! The baby first saw the light of day on July 22nd, 16:24 BST, weighing 8lb 6 oz, and in perfect health. A statement from Kensignton Palace announced: “The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.” Not only the parent, but also the grandparents of the child, couldn't be happier nor more excited about the newborn. The name of the baby, who is third in line to the throne, has not yet been revealed. Apparently, George, James and Alexander are favorites for the Prince of Cambridge.

Soon after the news came to the press, thousands of people gathered at Buckingham Palace to celebrate, in hope of catching a glimpse of the little prince. Meanwhile, all across London, there were hints of celebration: Trafalgar Square was lit blue, the London Eye had the colors of the flag, and the BT Tower showed the written message “it's a boy”.

Honestly, we're pretty curious to see Kate's post-pregnancy wardrobe – given how she's managed to look perfectly polished these past 9 months – as well as the Prince of Cambridge's tiny outfits. Will he be wearing Ray Ban Kids sunglasses to protect his royal eyes? Or will the family pick something British for their heir?
