Kristen Bell gave birth to a baby girl this March, and she named her Lincoln. However, the actress and her fiance, Dax Shepard, refuse to get married until gay marriage would be legal in California. Now, they're free to do so, as the Veronica Mars star told Jay Leno on his show on Monday night. Kristen told the audience that on the day the law was passed, she called Dax and asked if we wanted to get married right away; he, on the other hand, was busy with a meeting, so he politely declined. Kristen assured us that's she's fine, and we believe her, because look how radiant she looks in Redbook magazine this month!

“I had to surrender to not worrying about the way I looked, how much I weighed, because that's just part of the journey of having a baby. I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size,” she told the magazine about her baby weight. Kristen simply doesn't listen to her inner critic, and she practices kindness to her own body, in order to be happy. Moreover, her partner has a pretty important role in her happiness: he makes her laugh like no other. And now, little Lincoln is just the cherry on top of the cake. No matter how much she misses her while she's working, Kristen still wants her career. She actually plans on doing it all: a successful actress, mother and wife.
