This weekend, leaks of Lady Gaga's yet unreleased song, Applause, made the round of the Internet. Her fans immediately started a campaign against piracy, to which the singer replied with a gift: she released the song early. “POP MUSIC EMERGENCY #0DAYSTillAPPLAUSE MY NEW SINGLE COMES OUT TODAY. 911 SPREAD THIS MESSAGE” she tweeted. This is the first song from the star's upcoming album, ARTPOP, which is to come out on November 11th. Until then, Lady Gaga is ready to show some skins to her fans. She was recently featured naked in a film promoting artist Marina Abramovic. And now, here she is again, on the cover of V Magazine, the Fall issue, wearing not much but Saint Laurent jeans and a sequin blazer. In her interview with the magazine, she speaks about her relation to the artist, who has previously named her “an inspiration” and that she felt like her “daughter”. “I thought about Pop Art and how the dominant subject matter was always the celebrity or the pop-culture icon on the canvas, and then I thought to myself: I don’t want to be an icon in just one form. I want to be an icon in many forms. So that’s where it began,” Gaga told the mag.
