The artist announced the release date of her highly awaited new album.

Everyone and their mom was waiting for a new release from the infamous singer, and it’s now been confirmed that the date is November 11. Lady Gaga took to her Facebook page to announce the big event, and to explain what it’s all about. Since Friday, the post already got over 135,000 likes and 20,000 shares. It’s not just going to be a new album, but also an interactive app that fans will be able to use on their gadgets. “A musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology with a new interactive worldwide community – the auras.” We’re pretty excited to know what that’s going to be like, and if you are, too, know that you can pre-order both the album and the app starting on September 1st. Even before that, a single will be out on August 19th, just a month from now!

Lady Gaga has been teasing about this album for over a year, and it will be her third full length album. Even though she’s currently recovering in a golden wheelchair from a broken hip, that doesn’t stop her from making a huge media campaign. Before the release of the album, on November 10th, the singer will host artRAVE, an exhibition celebrating the album and all it’s different aspects, except, of course, the album itself. Sounds like a move that only Gaga could pull off. Marina Abramović, as well as other artists, will be contributing to and attending the event.

And since Gaga is all about shocking, the singer recently took a break for Twitter, by closing her incredibly popular account. With a strong following of over 39 million followers, the artist definitely had some advantages over other musicians, and now she decided to shut it down. This might have to do with the promotion of her new app, and her not giving anymore social media clues about that. Who knows? One thing’s for sure: her fans are looking forward to her returning. And we’re looking forward to more stylish outfits like this one: in Tom Ford sunglasses, a dark suit and animal print accessories, Lady Gaga probably looks her best.
