One of the most exciting shows of the year took place yesterday, and it was grand as it always is. Before Victoria's Secret Show being broadcast on television on December 10th on CBS, here are some of the highlights from the runway.
Taylor Swift opened the show in a British inspired outfit, with plenty of Union Jack references and tons of sex appeal. Meanwhile, Fall Out Boy accompanied her in punk outfits with plaid, stripes, and Dr. Martens boots. During the performance, model Candice Swanepoel strutted her stuff on the catwalk, wearing the most expensive piece of the evening: a $10 million bra. The Fantasy Bra was definitely the highlight of the collection, being crafted in 18 karad gold, rubies, diamonds and yellow sapphires. This is the highest price the brand endorsed since 2005, having plunged the costs down during the recession.

Wednesday night's show was divided into sections: British Invasion, Birds of Paradise, Shipwrecked, Pink Network, Parisian Nights and Snow Angels. The models wore outfits to match each of the six themes. Taylow Swift also changed outfits, into a silver mini dress for the closing of the show. She performed I Knew You Were Trouble and looked just like the snow angel she was suppose to.

Some of the models in the show were Jessica Hart, Barbara Fialho, Erin Heatherton, Lindsay Ellingson, Izabel Goulart, Lily Aldridge, Maria Borges, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Cara Delevingne and Alessandra Ambrosio. Out of the angels, Adriana Lima is the one with most experience, having walked in Victoria's Secret shows for 13 consecutive years. While Miranda Kerr was the great absence of the show (after previously announcing she won't be an angel anymore), Cara Delvigne was a nice surprise, walking for the lingerie brand for the second time ever.
