If you ever wondered what being the middle child in a famous family band, Joe Jonas would probably be the guy to ask. And the singer decided to reveal the truth about everyone, in a recent interview that took everyone by surprise. The singer of the now-defunct Jonas Brothers tells the story of how they started singing together, and then continues into their successful Disney times. During the filming for the Disney sitcom, Jonas, the then 20 year old had to shave every day in order to look like he was 16, and he admits the humor was very low level (“It just ended up being some weird slapstick humor that only a 10-year-old would laugh at”).

Without actually giving names, the singer explains it was easier for him to date women from the business: “I ended up dating a lot of people in the business, because you relate to them, you’re on the same schedule, and honestly, it was exciting. In the back of my mind, it felt special to date someone who was also famous. But I wanted to keep things quiet out of respect for my fans, because we had a large female audience, and I didn’t want to rub my relationships in their faces. Some of the girls I dated just didn’t get that.” His first serious relationship was with Ashley Greene, but the long distance didn’t work out for them. He also remembers being photographed with another female Disney star making out in the back of his car, or how much his fans loved his relationship with Demi Lovato, who had a drug problem at the time. It was with her and Miley Cyrus that Joe first smoked weed, as he confesses in the interview: “They kept saying, “Try it! Try it!” so I gave it a shot, and it was all right. I don’t even smoke weed that often anymore,” he says.

Soon after the interview was published, Demi Lovato tweeted: “@joejonas love you brother. #family/friendsforever”, showing that she feels no resentment towards what was revealed. What do you think about Joe’s article?
