After being charged with misdemeanor counts of grand theft and battery following an altercation with photographer Daniel Ramoz in July 2013, Kanye West‘s sentence has been made public. Daniel Ramos claims he was punched by West although he didn’t provoke him in any way. The rapper didn’t reach a civil settlement with the paparazzo, and he maintains his innocence through a special plea of no contest. While he didn’t attend the court hearing himself, his sentence is two years probation, 24 anger management therapy sessions and 250 hours of community service. This is not the first time West goes to anger management: he’s also been sentenced to therapy back in 2008, after a similar charge from another photographer.
Kanye’s problems with the law don’t stay in the way of his family’s happiness, however. Apparently, the rapper is preparing a surprise for his wedding to Kim Kardashian on May 24th, in the form of a song. According to Hollywood Life, it’s “something special he’s working on.” But it’s not like we’re going to see pictures from the wedding on Instagram, because the couple are making their guests sign a confidentiality agreement, with phones being held at a secure location during the ceremony and party.
