Annie Liebovitz shot Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for the April cover of Vogue, which is titled “Kim & Kanye, their fashionable life and surreal times #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple”. Even though people were already guessing Kim will eventually land the cover of the most important fashion publication, the choice is very controversial. Sarah Michelle Gellar tweeted: “Well……I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???” and got over 11,000 favorites and 8,000 retweets. Blogger Bryanboy tweeted: “I’d like to nominate honey boo boo for the cover of next year’s age issue”. After spoofing Kimye’s video Bound 2, James Franco and Seth Rogan spoofed their Vogue cover as well. Kermit and Miss Piggy did the same.

While last year, it was rumored that Anna Wintour uninvited Kardashian from the MET Gala, it looks like everything is good between them now: “As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancee on Vogue‘s cover. He did nothing of the sort,” Wintour explained. “The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn’t true,” according to US Magazine.
On the April cover of the mag, Kim is wearing a wedding gown and Kanye holds her from behind. Some of the photos inside also show baby North West. What do you think of Kimye’s Vogue cover?
