Carey Mulligan looks dashing in Tom Ford sunglasses and a Rochas sweater, in an editorial for W Magazine that she shot last year. The gorgeous actress is now in the spotlight with the premiere of The Great Gatsby, and we can’t get enough of her! The 27 year old opened up about having to work with Leonardo DiCaprio, an actor she truly admires: “I was terrified of reading with him. It said in the script that Daisy kisses Gatsby, so I asked if I should, and Baz Luhrmann said, ‘Yes,’ so I kissed him. I’ve always admired him so much, and always loved his work so much. I had no idea what kind of actor he would be. It turned out that he was just really a hard-worker and really generous to everyone else. He sort of wants everyone to be as good as they can be.” The actress amazed Harper Bazaar readers when she told the mag who she used for inspiration for her role: “The Kardashians are sort of a reference in that Daisy’s purpose in life is—she feels her purpose is to look very beautiful all the time and to constantly be on show. So what I was trying to imply was that there’s an essence of part of the amazing business they run as the Kardashians is looking beautiful a lot and looking very present, presentational and perfect.” Oh, wow! We wonder if there will be any books and movies about the golden age of the Kardashians a hundred years from now…
