See who was awarded at the event on Sunday and what they wore, as well as the most important moments of the evening.
Let's start with Miley Cyrus, who was definitely noticed on the red carpet. For all the wrong reasons, maybe? The singer, who won Candie's Choice Style Icon, Choice Summer Song and Choice TV Female Scene Stealer (for Two and a Half Men), wore a doubtful mini number by Saint Laurent. The ensemble had a sheer top as well as a belted skirt, which looked a bit cheap with the white shoes. Other ladies who made the worst dressed lists were Abigail Breslin in a sequin jacket, Demi Lovato in leather pants, Jenni Farley in a high-low dress, Gabby Douglas in a yellow mini, and Anna Camp in Emilio Pucci. Now moving on to those ladies that had inspired choices for their looks:
One of our favorites of the evening was Selena Gomez, who rocked a dark green Cushnie et Ochs dress with Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. The double slits looked great on her silhouette, and the public loved her! The singer/actress got Choice Break-up Song for Come & Get It, Choice Summer Music Star: Female and Choice Female Hottie. Nina Dobrev was awarded with Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi, and she wore a bold matching outfit with pants and a tank, by J. Mendel, paired with Dolce&Gabbana shoes. Very well done!
On the elegant side stood Hailee Steinfeld, who opted for a red and blue combination created by House of Holland. Equally colorful, but way sexier, was Kerry Washington, who wore an embellished Stella McCartney mini dress with Louboutins. The actress was nominated for Choice Movie Actress: Comedy, but the award went home with Rebel Wilson. And since the whole event seemed to be about color, we must mention Chloe Moretz, who wore Christopher Kane.
Speaking of awards, the big one went to Ashton Kutcher, who got the Ultimate Choice Award. During his speech, the actor opened up and even revealed something no one knew: his real name. “I feel like a fraud. My name is actually not even Ashton. Ashton is my middle name. My first name is Chris.” So how about Chris Kutcher, does that have a ring to it?
Glee won an award, as did Lea Michele (Choice TV Comedy Actress), who made a surprise appearance to thank her fans for the support. Since Cory Monteith's death last month, the actress asked for a bit of privacy. “I wanted to dedicate this award to Cory. For all of you out there who loved and admired Cory as much as I did, I promise that with your love, we're going to get through this together.” The tearful speech touched the entire crowd, while Glee cast members joined Lea on stage in Cory's memory.
