Hopefully third times the charm–Britney is getting married…again. Though it was main squeeze and former agent Jason Trawick’s 40th b-day celebration, it was actually Britney who got the big surprise. While the pair sat down to a romantic dinner for his milestone birthday, he popped the question. The pop star posted on Twitter: “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! xxo.” Seems that some of the media predictions that Brit would marry her boyfriend of two years in 2012 have apparently come true.

Her first two weddings were relative “quickies” in the scheme of things, so this time she may take her time and go for a more lavish ceremony. In 2004, the former Mousketeer wed childhood friend Jason Alexander at the Little White Wedding Chapel on the strip in Las Vegas. Before the ink was dry, Britney was already seeking an annulment. Later that year, she married Kevin Federline in a secret ceremony in southern California in front of just a handful of friends and family. Kev is the father of her two sons. The couple divorced just two years later. Let’s hope for Brit and her two children, that her marriage to Jason will stand the test of time.
