Rihanna’s been through some tough stuff over the years, but these days her blood is boiling because a magazine recently referred to her as “the ultimate [N-word/B-word]” while informing readers how to dress like the popular singer. Jackie, a Dutch fashion magazine, also used the term “ghetto” to describe Rihanna’s backside, while incorrectly stating that the Barbados-born singer was from Jamaica.
According to The Washington Post, RiRi responded via Twitter. “I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!!” she tweeted, then stating that the magazine “[degrades] an entire race” and “[encourages] segregation” followed up by “Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you… [expletive] YOU!!!”
Jackie’s editor-in-chief apologized for the blurb and claimed that it was meant to be a joke, with no malice intended, and claims that the offensive terms would no longer appear in the magazine. Either way, Rihanna’s got a right to be a little ticked off. Seen here stepping out in a pair of sleek Lanvin heels and glam Tom Ford sunglasses, this girl’s got it goin’ on–no matter what anyone says!
