Being cast in a box office hit like Twilight might sound like pure luck, but Ashley Greene reveals how she really landed the role. “We had no idea just how big it was going to become. The audition was top secret so all I had was: ‘Vampire, 18, girl’. I was like, ‘What am I supposed to do with this? Are there any directions?’ Then my managers were like, ‘Oh yes, there’s a book’,” the pretty actress says. She read the first two books the night before the auditions, but still had no idea how big the project is going to be: “We hadn’t even started filming when my mom called and said, ‘Do you know you have a fan site?'” On the cover of Manhattan magazine this month, Greene explains what kind of man would steal her heart: “You need someone who is going to help you make that better version of yourself. I need someone who is strong but supportive and who loves me — someone who isn’t afraid to call me on my sh*t.” Rumors say, we might be able to see more of Greene in the screen version of 50 Shades of Grey, the bestselling novel, for the coveted lead part of Anastasia Steele. We just have to wait and see…
