52-year old Tilda Swinton was the star of The Impossible Wardrobe, a one woman performance curated by Musée Galliera’s Olivier Saillard at the end of September. With an audience consisting of Christian Lacroix, Haider Ackermann, Martine Sitbon or Bruno Frison, the show lasted for approximately 40 minutes, and it celebrated 2 centuries of fashion.“If Tilda hadn’t accepted our proposal, we wouldn’t have done it.” The Academy Award winning actress presented vintage clothing down the runway, while making eye contact with the audience in a deep, profound connection. After appearing in the hit Moonrise Kingdom this year, Swinton has three movies lined up for 2013: Snow Piercer, a sci-fi drama, Only Lovers Left Alive, a vampire drama, and The Zero Theorem, a drama about a hacker. Swinton never disappoints with her choice of movie parts and her choice of fashion. Pictured above, she matched her signature blond short hair with a pair of Yves Saint Laurent sunglasses, in a futuristic cat eye shape.
