In this still from Real Steel, Hugh Jackman‘s character is wearing a pair of the famous Ray Ban sunglasses, with dark lenses. The actor covers The Hollywood Reporter this month, and he talks about the rumors that he’d be gay: “Just recently, it bugs her. She goes: ‘It’s big. It’s everywhere!’” he says talking about his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness. But Jackman is a tough guy, having gone through a lot at a young age: his mother left them – “Dad went off to England to bring her back, but by this point she was married to someone else, with a kid. It was really complicated. So when Dad arrived back — not three weeks later, as planned, but five days later — I just knew. I was old enough to go, ‘This is not happening.’” The actor comes from a big family and didn’t always get the support he wanted: “My father could only come to one [school sports] game a year because he had five kids, and on Saturday he had to shop. If my father was there, it would be 50 percent greater. Having his approval is something that still drives me,” he says.
