After a successful, and slightly controversial Vogue cover, and a similar Saturday Night Live appearance, Lena Dunham takes over Glamour magazine. The actress wears black eyeliner with an open back dress that shows off her arm and back tattoo. While the Girls star may have trouble in her on-screen love life, things are much better in her real life. “I was all tortured about whether I should get back together with this guy I’d been seeing for five months. We’d broken up, and it felt like my only chance at romance for the rest of my life. But Nora was like, “No, no, no.” So I broke up with him in January, Girls debuted at the beginning of April, and then I met Jack at the end of April,” she says about her boyfriend of two years, Jack Antonoff.

The actress says that Jack is very supportive of her, giving her the space and time she needs to do her work. However, she cast an equally charming man to play her love interest on the show: “in casting Adam [Driver, who plays Hannah’s boyfriend], I just looked at him and went, “I would have fallen in love with him in college.” When you first see Adam, you have this sense of he’s your own private secret, and I felt that would be a big part of Hannah’s attraction to him. Like, No one else is going to want this person but me…. And of course that’s not true. Adam is like the sexiest man alive, and everybody wants to f–k him all day long.”
