Tom Ford is known for his sleek taste, which is so well preserved in his designs. No wonder he always wears his stuff – pictured above, he’s wearing a pair of aviator Tom Ford sunglasses in gold, with brown lenses, and a casual unbuttoned shirt and blazer. He even told Vogue in an interview that he puts on everything he makes – even if he won’t wear it on the street, he wants to get the garment’s feeling! Moreover, he wouldn’t want his name associated with something he doesn’t truly believe in. And since the designer seems to get everything right all the time, we bet makeup for men is the next big thing in fashion!
After the success of his luxury cosmetics for women, Tom Ford takes to his own kind this fall, with a new grooming line including a face cleanser, eye treatment, a moisturizer, a mud mask, a bronzing gel, a concealer and two new fragrances. Since the prices of the women’s line vary between $50 for lipstick and $90 for bronzing powder, we wonder how much the new stuff will cost. And will men who like to take care of themselves be willing to pay such prices for luxury makeup? That remains to be seen…
