Elizabeth and James joined forces with InStyle magazine for a very special event, one which gathered a bunch of celebrities to the party. The American label launched their fall handbags line, giving the attendees a chance to show off their Elizabeth and James goodies. The Olsen twins, who own the label, say that the prices for the new line (which is Elizabeth and James’ first ever line of handbags) will be more affordable than their high end The Row, but also Alexander Wang and Philip Lim. However, the bags will be more expensive than Tory Burch and Marc Jacobs. The prices range from $395 to $625, according to the twins, who famously charged as high as $39,000 for a backpack from their other label, The Row. The new bags will hit the stores this July, but some lucky celebs have had the chance to preview them this week.

The designer duo wore matching black outfits and wavy, beach hair, with fresh faces. They both wore vintage inspired low heels, and while Mary Kate opted for jeans, Ashley went for an oversized dress. Chateau Marmont also hosted Naya Rivera, who wowed in a Naeem Khan dress with plenty of bling, her hair in a high bun and glittery heels. No bag though – was she hoping to get one from the launch? Who knows! “I’m definitely a bag girl”, she told InStyle at the party.

Among the beautiful people at the party, we also noticed Melonie Diaz, who looked retro in a red Moschino dress, New Girl’s Hannah Simone, who wore a LBD from the host brand, Brittany Snow, who wore Eternal, Analeigh Tipton, Ahna O’Reilly, Willa Holland, Ashley Madekwe, who wore a floral top and Jimmy Choos, and cuties Kiernan Shipka in Red Valentino and Amandla Stenberg in Prabal Gurung.
