The singer was honored with her own Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
J. Lo is no longer just Jenny from Bronx: she is officially part of the Hollywood elite. The singer/actress was honored with the 2500th star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, at the age of 43. For the ceremony, Lopez was accompanied by her boyfriend, Casper Smart, and her two kids, Max and Emme. And then, of course, there were the fans, who came in a large number to support their favorite entertainer.
Even though Lopez promised the audience she won’t be crying, she was visibly emotional. She called the entire experience “surreal” and called herself lucky for being able to do what she likes best and what she really wants. Jane Fonda, her co-star in Monster in Law, was also present at the event, and she declared herself a big fan of J.Lo’s bootie. Pitbull and Nigel Lythgoe were also present to celebrate Lopez, who began her acting career back in 1986 with the movie My Little Girl. Since then, she rose to fame with the 1997 Selena, and sold 70 million albums worldwide. Her eighth album will be released this fall, and the fact that she received the Walk of Fame star makes it even more exciting.
Since the event on Thursday, Jennifer Lopez has been spotted on a grocery store trip with her son, Max. The latina beauty wore a botanic print jumpsuit, a white leather bag and a pair of aviator Ray Ban sunglasses, as well as comfortable, flat sandals.
