31 year old performer, Kelly Clarkson, confirmed the rumors that she got married. Kelly posted a series of three shots from her wedding on Twitter, and announced her excitement about the event that took place over the weekend. “I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock 🙂 We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!” she posted on Monday. Her dress was designed by Temperley, and her headpiece was a collaboration between friends: “Thnx Temperley 4 my beautiful dress! & thank you to my friend @JimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece!”. And indeed, she looked beautiful in her lace gown, with long sleeves and a V-neck, a sparkly silver headband and sunflower bouquet. The groom, Brandon Blackstock, wore traditional black and he looked dapper.

The couple have been engaged since last December, and Kelly announced earlier this year that the celebration would be intimate (just his two kids and the minister). Not even her parents were invited to the wedding. “She was so afraid we might be upset. But we were fine with it. … I had known that she was under a lot of stress. And we just wanted her to be happy and not stressed out,” her mother told Celebuzz. Jeanne Taylor says she's happy for her daughter, above anything else. Apparently, there's a video that the family is going to see, as a replacement.
Although Kelly hasn't announced any plans of kids of her own yet, her mom is sure she'll going to do a great job: “I think she’ll make a great mom. I know she’s been trying really hard with Brandon’s kids and they all really get along,” she told the same publication. Best of luck to the bride and groom!
