Last fall, Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac got engaged. The actress had been previously married for three years to Ryan Reynolds (currently married to Blake Lively), while the private French journalist hasn’t been married before. Just a short while after, E!Online confirms that the couple are expecting their first child!
In January, Scarlett told Good Morning America that she’s not doing any wedding planning, probably having to do with her previous statement from 2012, when she told Elle that she’s not thinking about marriage or kids. More recently, however, it seems that she has changed her idea about kids: “I would like to have my own family, that would be nice. They say it’s never the right time and I am sure that’s true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else.” Is now the right time for Scarlett & Romain?

The couple have been very secretive about their relationship, only revealing it to the press after a few months. So it’s no wonder they haven’t made any statement about the pregnancy.
The 29 year old actress hasn’t been nominated for the Academy Awards this year, despite having a voice-over part in the nominated movie, Her (which won Best Original Screenplay). Her director, Spike Jones, was more than impressed with her performance: “I don’t know enough about how the Academy decides that. All I know is I saw what she did, and I loved what she did, and I was moved and affected by and watching her create that character even though it was just in a voice,” he said.
